Were we leaves,
I would wait with you
among wet branches,
fall by you
on soft lawns,
laugh alongside you
in laconic breezes
and cry for you
beside cold puddles.
Were we leaves,
I would chase you
on skittering winds,
tumble skyward with you
above Texas towns,
lay with you
in the coldest canyons
and touch you
along your
brittlest edges.- Jac Darznieks, for his friend Charlotte who was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident
Too. Much. Crap!
This photo is from SDCC 2011. Those folks behind me in the photo? We ran into each other again in 2012.
I love Comic Con even when it exhausts me.
My friend Dan uses his expert knowledge of sdcc to suggest solutions…
This is a link to my whole Flickr set on San Diego Comic-Con. So few pictures were taken with the iPhone this year since I had my AMAZING camera (Panasonic Lumix GF-1) and the internet at SDCC so crappy, I wasn’t able to live Tumblr this year.
However, I will probably post individual shots and make some prosaic commentary on how exhausting and awful and great and terrible SDCC is.
Also however, I am also seriously behind on writing and movies so that ain’t happening any time soon.
I totally geeked out meeting Phil Proctor at the VoiceOver actor booth and he not only posed for a pic with me, he had his associate take our picture on HIS camera! ZOMG!
Sure enough, Saturday I saw a dude in a Nazi uniform. To be fair, it was an SS officer uniform and had no swastika, but STILL.
